welcome to eclectic!

Hi, my name is Terri Kerbrat, Chief Inspiration Officer for a quaint little shop in the valley where our services are as varied as our inventory. eclectic is so much more than antiques, books and collectibles! We are a bed & breakfast and we offer "build-a-romance" packages, golf packages, and retreats.  We will host your workshop or offer you one of our own, like our Decorating with Antiques in which we discuss how to incorporate heritage or vintage pieces in modern decor. We rent picnic baskets and bicycles and we host Victorian teas and murders! (Murder Mystery Dinner Parties for groups of 6 or 8). eclectic is a shop to be experienced so come to Lumsden, experience the valley! Experience eclectic!

Visit Sweet or Savoury the eclectic bed & breakfast recipe blog for recipes and stories not found in the first printing of the cookbook.

The Lumsden Tourism Bureau blog provides photos and a list of what's happening in Lumsden and area.
Visit the Lumsden History Examined blog site for reprints of my Waterfront Press Regional weekly column as well as recipes and fun projects using "found" objects.

The straightUP startUP blog site is live! I took my business from idea to inception in 7 months. There were days in which I wondered, "what in the hell am I doing?" but for every single one of those days there were three days in which I thought, "why didn't I do this years ago?".
When Visiting Lumsden
The community of Lumsden is located just 20 minutes from Regina on Highway #11. Nestled in the Qu'Appelle Valley, the area hosts a number of outdoor opportunities:

Lumsden is a thriving arts community. We have two formal galleries - the Letterbox and Muziek. Besides our antique shop, other shops include a butcher, a florist, a home decor and gift shop, a clothing store, a lumberyard, a pharmacy and a shop that carries only eco-friendly products! When you are hungry, try the Brickhouse Bistro, Prairie Cherry Corner, the hotel or grab sandwich fixings at the Lumsden Bigway Supermarket. There are two banks, a gas station, a museum and a petting zoo on a farm nearby. There are several market gardens within 5 minutes of Lumsden.
